Saban isn’t leaving T Town. I hate to break it to you. Now can he find the next giant? That’s the question. If we could somehow lure Urban from TV, I think he could win at least 2 natties here and set us up well for the future but I doubt he does.

How about this for a sales pitch to a prospective new coach:
"The last three guys we have hired have ALL won national championships here". NONE had that level of success before they arrived. Over the course of the last 20+ years NO other school can say that. If you want to build a championship program THIS is the place to do it. There are three flags flying in the stadium over there proving as much.

But I get his point. He's meaning the current modern era, I would say 1980s to today.
Wooden coached until 1975. Bear coached until 1982.
