The same thing, albeit to a smaller degree, happened when Johnny Jones got the basketball job. Joe allowed that 5 year waste of time to take place and was happy to overpay Jones...and Jones was happy to accept it.

Ensminger may have some initial trepidation...but simple Joe will calm those nerves by paying Steve a half million more than anyone else would pay him to be their OC. Alleva is such a shrewd negotiator he out leverages and out bids himself. Truly a gift!!
