Can you really trust Meyer's mental health at this point? He has mentally collapsed at his last two stops.

Why wouldn’t you make the call if Saban says no?

Because Urban would be a complete disaster?

Maybe controversial but who from the 2010s that was a great head coach is still great? The last 4 years of CFB has churned up and spit out the older coaches

Good point and this is why Saban retired and might not be worth paying to come back

Urban would wreck shite with this recruiting ground

Just depends how much NIL money is available for players. That’s mostly what matters now.

I think Urban would be much more likely to come back to coaching for Penn State than for any SEC job. There is less parity in the Big Ten and a much easier path to the playoff.

I agree with this. Penn St would actually be a great fit for him. Lower stress, fewer big time tough games to get into playoffs. Would instantly make them relevant again. I don tthink he talked with them on the level portrayed but it would legit be a great fit. Hes kinda a POS and they rape kids there so there you go

Urban may not want to coach in the SEC again. He had great success with two national championships, but got out as soon as things trended down with a 5-loss season and claimed health issues. He did have great success though coaching in the SEC overall. He was clearly an elite coach winning 3 NCs between two different schools.

Penn State is retarded if he was actually interested and NIL is what got in the way. Urban is one of those candidates you just say “yes. How much and what do want?”

Couldn't a school let their GM/Football Director handle most of the heavy lifting on NIL?

No way Urban signs a contract with a morals clause.

Maybe with a butthole fingering exclusion.

Urban has done the NFL and knows what it means to go bring in experienced guys.
interesting that you think Meyer's NFL stint is a positive.

It was a complete and utter failure.

Don't see where I said he did well. I said he has been exposed to that, and that would play into how he approached NIL (and the portal) in college.

1 from Urban would only make 4 that none of us thought we would ever see.

I've said time and time again. Look at urban's record vs top 25, top 10, and top 5

We have the infrastructure that takes NIL out of the coaches hands if they want. It’s not the same situation I believe we are unique around the league when it comes to this.
