I don't think I would go quite that far. But when it comes to the actual on-the-field approach/philosophy, yes, Orgeron was useless. His lack of involvement there was a big part of why LSU won in 2019. His interjecting himself into the on-field philosophy is the single biggest reason LSU collapsed immediately thereafter.

The idea that Dave hates O was made up outta thin air on here. A lot of our fans were more offended by what O said about the defense that aranda was. Dave knows “coach speak” when he hears it.
