One thing this CC board taught me this time

With SW at the helm...... They're are no more insiders, just a bunch of knock off cane's sauces. The fact that no one knew anything to right to the end is amazing to me. Cheers to a successful coaching search

CC board is just for entertainment value. If it had to have actual factual information the board would not exist. It’s all just for fun. Nobody should take it serious, but some take it way too serious. It’s like the political talk board for sports.

Seems to me the most reliable source was the baw that books the jet. That still didn’t get us that close to the real hire.

Ballchamp00 or whatever his name was kept saying Riley wasn’t the coach and LSU already had their guy. He didn’t name him but he seemed pretty confident that he knew…..

I really do think we have insiders who know people in the operations (mainly TBL), but those insiders got deliberately fed disinformation to feed the smokescreen.
I mean, the board hated him for it in '16 but TBL did tell everyone that Orgeron was getting the permanent gig about 2 days before the news actually started breaking. Everyone, including myself, blew up like Saint Helens, but he was right.
That said, it's clear that under Woodward, there will be no leaks. So, I won't be buying any "inside information" in the next CCB so long as Scott is still AD. In this current search, I'd wager that only Scott, King and Verge actually knew it was Kelly. If you keep your trusted inner circle that small, you can keep secrets easily.
