If a football head coach can win at Duke or Vandy, they can win anywhere.

Just hope they don't turn in to James Franklin.

Much better programs than A&M have recently hired coordinators and G5 head coaches.

James Franklin would be the best football coach in A&M history.

Franklin has more 11-win seasons in the last 10 years than Texas A&M has in its history. And he will probably have another one this year.

I watched Penn St vs Ohio St, I don’t think that wins enough for the Aggies in the SEC. Far more competition in the SEC. Ohio St and Michigan are not losing to anyone else in that conference.

That has nothing to do with my post. I'm not advocating for Franklin to get the job.

Dan Campbell, $4mil a year at Detroit, $10+ at his home in Texas am where he played. Detroit plays in winter 17 + games or triple his salary over in the fall at his hometown for triple the pay. West needs a defensive team like the east has and he can recruit easily in Texas and La where he coached the saints. Jimbo just left with over $100mil in four years. That's like $25mil a year

Crazy thing is there are some LSU fans who said that Dinardo should have been given one more year.

It was time for him to be fired, but he was a good coach that was stubborn and wouldn’t change. Kind of like Les Miles.

He did, in fact, Bring Back the Magic, and left Saban with a nice roster.

College football was much different back then. He was SEC Coach of the Year for going 5-6. That's how woeful Vandy was when he got there.

Plus, LSU was pretty putrid themselves coming off the Hallman era.
