This. They won 13 games when they were playing comparable talent.

Some painful drops by Cinci’s slow arse WRs, too.

ETA that the scheme worked and those slow dudes were open, just couldn’t close the deal.

That’s what your head coach does.

It’s CINCINNATI vs Alabama. Look at choice of play calls, situational football acumen…Cincinnati could have the greatest OC to ever exist and they would still be significantly outmatched.

His offense only works when you can run the ball. The quick 5 yard routes are not going to beat Bama

Pretty basic spread, not much creativity or aggression. Execution and drops have been suspect. Some questionable playcalls. If he’s actually the choice, I guess we’ll see how it translates to LSU’s talent. It sounds like Kelly will have a big hand in the offense.

Cincinnati has zero talent at the skill positions.

He doesn’t have the horses to run with Bama. Not sure anyone does right now. They made some adjustments on the first drive of the 2nd half. But with waaay more talent, Bama just seems to be be able to dominate the LOS.

I mean everyone who ever coaches against Alabama is going to have less talent than them so I don’t really accept the “less talent” excuse personally. Gotta win creatively.

That's weird, because weren't they hyping two of their receivers before the game?

I am not disagreeing though.

You need creativity, misdirection, and execution to beat more talented teams. I haven’t seen hardly any of that.

I don't like how defensive people are getting over the guy already.

Of course they are outmatched, but USM put up 14 on Bama. Come on Cincy.

Let's get a late TD and make this respectable.

It's a matter of degree. Dude is coaching G5 athletes.

Bama has won like 6 NC's under Saban. When they have lost it was against teams like LSU a couple of years ago and Clemson who had at least somewhat comparable talent.

You gotta attack the middle of the field v Bama. Very concerning that he doesn’t seem to understand that.

Guys I am scared a bit. I do not see this coordinator working out if it is him.
