Why would he want to come back into this world of college football compared to the one he willfully left?

I read this at first as Mike Holmgren and was like “is that guy even still alive?”

Petersen would be an A+ hire.
Bloomgren? How has Rice not fired him yet.

Rice is bowling.

As a Houstonian take Pep Hamilton so we don't have to shoot him!

Might be his final retirement right there.

How about Dennis Gates in basketball? That is why you never know who can be good nowadays. No one really knows any more than you, me, or even some experts.

Petersen is getting up in age. If I were Stanford I would look hard at Clawson if he has any interest. What he has done at Wake Forest is incredible

What are the odds Stanford doesn't hire a minority?

Somehow Lane Kiffin will be “expected to take the job” like he has the dozen other jobs he’s been mentioned for the last 3 years

Derek Mason MAYBE could get the Standford job if he agrees to a short leash

highly incentive-based contract and thus win or bust - would he agree to that? Why not, I think that's the wave of the future for many programs
