I'm not.

IF you consider Fickell a good coach then you shouldn't consider this to be true.

The reason why is good coaches hire good coaches. It isn't the sole reason for success, but it is a component. A HC can't do it all and one of his primary responsibilities is to coach his coaches. Just like a player, if the coordinator doesn't have the ability and isn't "coachable" then failure is imminent.

While their success is intertwined, it is intertwined in a way that reflects positively... for both of them.

There’s a reason Pete Carmichael hasn’t gotten a HC job yet he has been OC of some of the best offenses in NFL history for years now. So why is that?

It was always a concern of any defensive coach promoted that left working under Saban, that he was always the defensive genius behind everything. Just wondering if any one has any concern if that’s the case here?

Even if he was, our defense will most likely still be better than it was under Bo redux

see their offense in the bowl game against UGA?

Still can’t believe they couldn’t score or move the ball in 2nd half except for that one 70 yard run.

#55 getting ejected and being replaced by #51 really hurt. 3 false starts on 3rd and 2 or less.

Defense played lights out

Of course he’s a product of Fickell.

How do you know this? Have you been interviewed by him?

Or maybe some of your baws have been interviewed. I'd like how you know this for a fact.

TIA

I dunno. He sure gives off vibes though like he’s the man in charge of that defense.

Honestly, their defensive schemes seem to be pretty different from anything Fickle ran at OSU, so I'm not worried.
