Nightmare Situation

We whiff on Riley, USC hires Aranda, FL hires Napier. In that situation, which I agree is unlikely, we would have to pursue Kiffin right? Or if not Kiffin, then Campbell or Cristobol? The idea of retreating to Stoops or BOB is frightening.

I have a lot less faith in LSU administrators than the remainder of the board, it seems. I could easily envision scenarios where USC and Florida end up with better hires than LSU because our AD placed too much hope in an improbable "home run." We'll just see how it unfolds.

Whoa I'm not saying this scenario unfolds because we place too much emphasis in a "home run." We absolutely should be pursuing Riley but we should also be negotiating simultaneously with Aranda and Napier until the Riley (or whoever else) deal becomes concrete. I'm sure Woodward is all over it.
