My sources are saying its a done deal
Posted on 11/30/15 at 7:32 pm to LSU_Tigahs66
Head Coach for the Colts
President/Defensive Coordinator for the Giants
GM for Titans
AD for Texas
All done out of a central office in Birmingham next door to the SEC offices.
Per my source, it's a done a deal just trying to get assistants lined up.

if saban leaves, i think bama may be the only school smart enough to hire tom herman. that would figure. we keep les miles while bama signs the next legend in college football coaching.

Even if the Titans don’t want Saban, they should pursue Saban in order to drive up the price that their AFC South rivals ultimately would have to pay.

every offseason it seems like we say this about Saban...
dear fellow LSU fans... he isn't going ANYWHERE... he'll be at Bama till he decides to hang them up, which won't be all that much longer... get used to it...
best you can hope for is that he loses his assistants and has a lot of attrition to the draft/transfers... however, good replacements would line up down the block to be an assistant there, and we know about their recruiting....

How would you guys feel about Saban coaching the Saints if Sean Payton is fired? (Hypothetcally). Mark Ingram is there, along with the quarterback that he wanted in Miami - Drew Brees.

Dabo would replace Saban...or Kirby.

Yes but let's ask the really important question here. "I wonder if there is beer on the sun?"

unless Saban is a COMPLETELY different coach than he was back then (he's not), he's not suited for the NFL... great college coach, but that rah rah, rant and rave bullshite don't work around grown men, like it does around 18-22 year olds...

2 players.... what about the OL? what about the receivers? how about that piss poor defense that has more holes than a donut factory?
the saints could bring Lomardi back from the dead and they'd still be fricked... but i do think it's time for a change from Payton, and he's not gonna be fired... too many teams want him and he's under contract for a few more seasons.... we'd trade him, but the price will just be lower than if we were completely happy with him.....

If someone would offer Saban a 10 million per year contract, Saban would not think twice about moving on. That is not out of the realm of possibility...

Got Jimbo a raise and about to get Saban another one.

Just read the Saban book. He lost the locker room when he benched Culpepper and didn't tell him. He was fine as an NFL coach before that happened. Put him with an accomplished GM and he could definitely be a success in the NFL now. He is not the same guy he once was and is much better with people and players in general. The question is does he still want it at his age?

Saban's style of coaching- screaming and intimidating players, does not work in the nfl. Also he wouldn't have better players than everybody else.
Saban's not going to the NFL, but he has clearly toned down the screaming and carrying on bit since going to Alabama.
I think if he were to go back to the NFL, he'd have more success this time. But why would he want to go to the NFL? Chip Kelly had two straight 10-6 seasons, and now everybody is ready to fire him and declare him a failure. There is literally zero perspective.
