I belive Saban would have played in-state teams. You think he didn't want his win back over UAB? But very stupid, petty people are ultimately the ones in charge.
If Chicken or anyone else wants to run my IP address and check it against that of any Auburn fan who posts here or has ever posted here, have at it.
Does anyone connected with LSU actually care about LSU Football or does their entire fandom of the sport revolve around something bad happening to Alabama?
What Kirby did is more than just pantsing. He ended him. He did to him exactly what Saban did to Miles in January 2012. Besides that, It's an accumulation of things. The offense backsliding throughout the year, no effort to change things though something is clearly wrong with the QB, trying to force things with guys who clearly don't fit your "system". The game last weekend was just icing on the cake.

And for the record I do not and have never wanted Kiffin
I'll say it again, the SECCG was what 21-0 was to Les Miles. I just don't see how he comes back from that, just like Miles never did. And he doesn't have the hardware that Miles did when it happened.

As for who Bama could get...no clue. DeBoer seemed like the best candidate at the time. The next hire is probably going to be very underwhelming, a Bill Curry type.
-3 yards rushing. Again, if thinking I'm an alter makes that better, you do you.
They're in the Big 10 now, as ridiculous as that is. You'd get a repeat performance of last Saturday on the regular there.

DeBoer needs to go back to the west coast

Oregon State or something when the new Pac-whatever starts up next year. Not cut out for hardnosed football.
All the more reason to try one of the QBs who can actually run since Ty is completely useless right now. I'm not saying they'd have led some miracle comeback but you at least give the impression of trying instead of just letting the other team emasculate you.

I never said any such fricking thing.
If thinking I'm an alter takes the pain away from DeBoer becoming a poor man's Les Miles last night, be my guest.
I seem to recall Saban doing that in a championship game against UGA (arguably much later than he should have) and it working out ok.

No, I don't think he'd have had the same result but he could have at least tried, is my point.
Bama just had explosive diarrhea all over themselves yesterday, so...
And can someone tell me why he didn't at least give Russell a shot when it's been apparent for half the season now that Ty has lost his mojo?
I'm not mad about a 10 win playoff season, I'm mad about getting pulling an LSU 2011 NCG performance. Miles never recovered from that. DeBoer won't recover from this.
DeBoer can't beat Oklahoma. Especially after yesterday. I don't see how he can come back from that, it was almost 21-0 esque.
But I expected Alabama to at least, like, try yesterday (the defense did I guess but the offense didn't get off the bus.) Now we get to lose to OU again.

DeBoer isn't the guy. I suspect his seat will be scorching going into next year and he's going to seriously have feelers out for the next P4 job that comes open.
Has any other coach actually done the "family looks at real estate in a city he might be coaching in" thing for real, and done so publicly?
Annual reminder that LSU would shut their entire program down tomorrow if they thought doing so would spite Alabama.
