Stop. He got a raise for winning the sec and going to the national title. It's in his fricking contract. Please stop bashing this man's character you piece of shite.
So then Les had no interest in bolting for Arkansas? I mean he clearly listened to them, so why would he do that if he is so loyal to LSU?
I don't think Les is a bad person. On the contrary, I think he is a very good person. To act like he is some selfless person that would do anything for LSU is just naive though.

The chances they or LSU hires someone as good as Saban is very slim.

I think some people underestimate the level of coach Les is, but a ton of you way overrate him as a coach. I am sure tOSU said the same thing after Tressell left, right? How about UF? Arizona? UCLA?
The teams that are struggling with their hires are teams like USC where they were on probation and hired an idiot that failed everywhere else as a head coach. FSU sure failed their coaching hire to a national title. Auburn after Tubs was let go?

Dang...is she in 6th? I know she makes (or made) 13 this year. That could put her as either 7th or 8th. I just know cause she mirrors my youngest in softball, and she is a 7th grader and the other girls on her team are in 8th grade.
Eta...ehhhh. Come to think of it, she may be one year behind her. The girls play two years in the same age group...Macy may still be in 12s this year. Everything runs together at some point. But she surely isn't in high school! Lol.
Yep, she played soccer with my daughter for the last 5 years before the team fell apart this fall. She's the same age as all the other girls, but a year behind them at school.
I heard she's really good at softball, and enjoys it.

Auburn won't be as bad next year.
Auburn lost 5 games last year and is staring 6 losses in the face this year.
Maybe they'll fire another coach 2 years removed from playing in a national championship game. Oh, but he's an offensive genius.
And we think we have it so bad at LSU. You people are idiots.

Auburn was way overrated this year and most people knew it. I think most reasonable people felt they could be a top 25 team but the top 5-10 pre-season ranking was just stupid.
LSU fans defend Les by saying it is about a new defense, new QB, etc getting acclimated, yet Auburn can't have the same reasoning because they were more hyped?

A bit of an odd situation there since they had a full year with an interim coach, so a full year knowing they were going to look for a coach. Perfect situation to have Meyer land in their lap after quitting on Florida, taking 2011 off to commentate, and deciding he wanted to coach again. Not to mention Meyer is an Ohio native and had a connection to that university. Tough to find good coaches like that all the time.

How about UF?
Suffered through tough years twice after having big time coaches leave them. And you can't say that they are in a great spot after year one with this new coach. Muschamp looked pretty good in his second year there, but went down hill. Let's not forget that the East is crap this year and has been for a number of years recently, and that this LSU team with Miles handled UF pretty easily, despite the closeness on the scoreboard.

Arizona?
Currently a five loss team. What were you going for here? And here?
quote:
UCLA?
Currently a three loss team.

And it's amortized...not that big of a deal. TAF could fork over the entire amount if needed.
It's not going to happen. Impossible? No. But, it's totally impractical for a guy whose tenure is coming to an end in a couple of years and who will likely continue to maintain the program at a very high level.
It's not going to happen.

Auburn was the consensus pick in the West this year.

Maybe, maybe not. The serfs love Les the Nobles do not, the Nobles have all the cash.

If he wins this week, this conversation ends. Given that a large majority seems to be tiring of Les and that Les always seems to defy the odds, he'll probably pull the rabbit out of the hat and find a way to win this weekend.

Can you read?? I'm not saying they will hire another Saban. But letting them have first shot at definetly gives them a eh up on the hiring process both our programs will be going through at about the same time.

It doesn't matter how old Miles' daughter is. He can still be fired if it's warranted. I think he's made enough money through the years to be able to live out his years in Baton Rouge.
Yeah. This has absolutely nothing to do with the original post I responded to, or what we are discussing now. Thx.

You guys are truly delusional to think tha Miles will walk away with one more year of LF, Harris, all that returning talent.
Delusional.
Delusional.
Posted on 11/18/15 at 7:07 am to jrodLSUke
I'm not delusional to the fact that he will waste that talent yet again. That's the reason he needs to go.

Already known but figured I'd post anyway. OP has been updated with this article as well.
