CH and Jacques Doucete are both reporting that the next two games are crucial for Alleva regarding Miles' future with LSU.

I'm just not so certain I can trust those sources. I'd love for it to be correct but does anyone here have any credible information?

They owe him 12.8M after Jan 1.

It's not going to happen.

The thought is to have him retire and pay him half (or thereabouts), relative to have to fire him after the program completely collapses and all the good faith he has built is gone.

Not saying it will happen, but it can happen.

Well that sucks because there's no way we're losing to A&M.

The want for a better deal is there but unfortunately he'll have to come out on the back end of that deal. If you happen to see a man with a better deal, give him a great big hug and kiss (if you're a girl).

Because he could get half on the spot instead of working for it. Resign, take half and wait for ESPN to call

Because LSU has the right to defer the buyout amount over many years.

Les would be an excellent replacement for Lee Corso on college game day

Take the deal then go to Bama when Saban leaves. Not likely, but would be hilarious if it happened.

Exactly...as opposed to waiting over 20 years to get it.

belowpar has left the program. He was in LSU's sports administration, but has taken a job at another university in the last few years, according to the previously agreed upon conclusion from the most recent "Miles to Michigan" thread

I am told that if LSU loses to Ole Miss this weekend, aTm will likely be Miles last game as the LSU coach.

I mean, if you fire him, what do you tell the next guy? 110-31 isn't good enough? That's 78%. Even conference wise he's at 70%.

I think it may be time for Les to go, but my biggest fear is we end up like Texas.

CH has some info, he will only say what he is allowed to say about. Doucete doesn't know squat. Things have happened lately.

You could end up better, worse, or stay the same. All of this blank check shite that gets put on here is dumb as frick. The money is good but limited.

Everything is negotiable including buyouts.

They can be dragged out for years, or settled quickly like gentlemen.

A select few of you know I'm not full of shite.
