No, I'm saying you can toss any name out there you want and get all giddy, then the hire is made and reality sets in.
I'm more impressed with the coaching searches that have absolute shite names floating around in public then a great hire is made.
It is kinda like how I would break bad news while in school.

Why do other schools seems to have a list of candidates in a specific targeted order they go through in a professional and organized manner
But when A&M looks for a coach it's a shite storm of crazy names thrown at a wall until somebody is snuck in door #3?
Either our AD is not on the same page or we have multiple wealthy alumni throwing money at their guy

Except for that the last "search" wasn't actually a search. And lastest under a week. And Sherman was the only interview.
