A plane has just taken off from the airport.

I saw people having lunch.

Neuheisel is one of the last people that would break anything. He doesn’t know anything.

Looks like he was tweeting with Tim Brando, so maybe from his show. The douche Brando blocked me so I don’t know

Actually kind of the opposite. They’re effectively capped out…they don’t have the resources and ability to compete with OhioSt/Bama/UGA/etc

Yeah, but it’s Notre Dame. That’s a built-in advantage right off the bat.

He’s had a talent disadvantage except at ND where he made the NC but then it was Bama. I don’t nearly hate him as a hire.

Definitely not a white whale, maybe one that washed up on a beach somewhere. I'll be very disappointed if that is who it is.

Yeah but they are at a disadvantage to the big boys, any chance at winning a title ended in the 2000’s when the Big10 and SEC TV money exploded.

Their ceiling is playoff contention, they have no chance to ever win a playoff

It wouldn’t blow me away, but I wouldn’t hate it either.

It would definitely be the Jay Johnson type hire.

maybe 30 years ago

They don't just admit anyone to school there - even football players

Their facilities have also fallen behind some

He's tight with SW so I wouldn't dismiss it outright.

If he was right with SW he would know not to say this publicly

Kelly is a certified scumbag. If true, just say your AD is intimidated of Lane.

If Kelly is willing to leave Notre Dame and come here then guess what, thats the coach you want. Shows he wants to win a championship and is not scared of the SEC. All of you clowns need to get over the age thing. You can coach no matter what age you are. Say what you want about Kelly, he wins. And he plays anybody in the country. So i for one would be glad to have him as the next LSU coach

Those advantages end in the playoffs when he plays SEC teams with huge talent advantages.

No reason to think he can’t get over that hump with LSU athletes.

I heard his show this morning and he just threw out Kelly, Fickell, and Aranda. Didn’t sound like he knew anything.

Kelly just seems like an awful fit for our locker room

well maybe our locker room needs to change a bit. Among many other problems, we have a culture problem here, maybe we need a hardass to come in here and clean house and change the culture.

Brian Kelly has been on my list from the start, I think he would do great for us.

It true, it’s a grand slam. Have a relative that is a ND graduate and booster. Athletics at ND is an after thought. They lowered academics requirements for Holtz. It was highly contentious at the time. It resulted in their last NC with Tony Rice at QB (who was a prop 48 signee). They ended the lower requirements after Hiltz left. Many blamed the pay to play scam that involved an older women on kids who gained entry via lower standards. ND will not lower them again. Likewise, they will NEVEr pay a coach top 10, let alone top 25 money. Everything there is about esthetics. BK built a consistent winner with very little support in terms of support staff, recruiting budget , academic standards , etc. He makes less than 3 mill a year. I admit my bias bc I picked him on day one. I think he fits SW’s criteria.
