Some information after tonight's Packers vs Vikings NBC game...... Bob Costas interviewed Mike Florio who is a contributor to NBC's Sunday NIGHT NFL Studio show and a sportswriter for Profootballtalk.com. Florio said the Colts won't renew Chuck Pagano's contract. He said the number one guy they're looking at is Nick Saban, who they made a run at in 1998. They feel they have the QB to lure him and Florio says Saban is growing restless in Alabama. I have no link, as it was an interview with Costas on NBC. Just an interesting bit of information. Take it for what it's worth.

I think Florio is a clown.

Not disputing if the rumor is true or not.

I doubt that Saban will leave bama until he retires...however, nothing would make me happier.

I would be pleasantly shocked if he left. I doubt that happens anytime soon.

I really felt Texas could've had him if they'd gotten their shite together. At this point I think he retires at Bama.

I'm ready for him to either retire or get out of college football. I'm not going to believe any rumors until it happens though.

When people get in business too early, they screw up chances like this. If it stays quiet, it may have a chance.

Bama has a ton of money to throw at him. The only reason he leaves is for the challenge of it. He would have an elite qb but needs to build a team around him.

Texas has not given up on Nick Saban. They are at this moment still trying.

I wish them luck. Mack Brown and Joe Jamail aren't around to torpedo it this time

Florio says Saban is growing restless in Alabama

Just to be clear, he speculated that Saban "might be growing restless...especially if he wins another championship".

This was nothing more than a talking head.

Florio's a hack. Not saying it wouldn't be a glorious development, I just don't see that dickbag having any scoop that the SEC Rant wouldn't have already been all over.

Unfortunately, these two things are mutually exclusive.
