I know people that know people in his camp. I was stumping hard for Napier when it looked like LSU was going to have a comprehensive search instead of putting their eggs into one basket.

Napier is tired of moving around. He’s raising young children and the stress of moving on his wife has been awful. They really don’t want to have to make a big move yet again. They like the idea of living in Florida but Louisiana has been great to them thus far.

Interesting and while Napier wasn't my first choice he was my 2nd choice of the viable choices. If we don't have a coach by Monday or Tuesday it does make me think its a possibility LSU is going after him now also.

You are correct that the family thing is major for him. However FL is probably going to force his hand.

Sounds like a well-adjusted guy. Maybe he should stay at ULL since the stress to his family is so severe. I'm sure he'll continue to do well there. Climbing up the rungs of greatness is not for everyone.

To be clear LSU hasn't offered him, they have just said what they are open to to get him to listen

Hell no.

UF is giving him the chance of sledgehammering their program and making it in his own image. If LSU doesn’t offer he’s gone

LSU wants nothing to do with Napier. He’s basically offering blow jobs to be considered and there’s still zero interest

Why would Florida accept him slow playing them lol.

He's the coach at ULL not Nick Saban I swear half of the people on this board are Cajun fans jerking him off.

The fact that he's in the running for both these jobs is insane the fact that ADs are letting him appearently play them like a fiddle is shows a lack of administrative competency

Was in the conference championship game all 4 years he was coach. Lost the fist two to App State, last year the game wasn't played due to Covid. This year the game is being played at UL.

Would have won it last year had Coastal Carolina not bailed because they were going to be missing a few players

LSU was all in on Riley. Swing and Miss, phone call was made to Napier this morning. Napier feels more wanted by UF Admin and will sign with UF.

If Napier is getting cold feet, then he shouldn’t go to UF. We need a real man coaching this team.
