Napier is frustrated as hell

Puts together the best run in UL/ULL/USL history and the stands are empty for their rivalry week game vs ULM.
Doesn’t want to uproot his family and move to Florida when the LSU job is open an hour away.
Has great and deep connections with personalities, coaches, and power brokers across the state but the fact that he’s coaching at UL is hurting him.
Florida is putting the pressure on him to get this deal done and he’s slow playing them to not make any final decisions until LSU has made their hire.
The only good thing is that the players 100% support him even with the talk of him leaving and are going to give it all to win the conference championship.
I’m not going to simp for Napier. There’s a huge risk involved in hiring him and his offenses have never been on the cutting edge of ingenuity but if you’re going to tell me that Stoops is the better option then you’re a window licker.

LSU was all in on Riley. Swing and Miss, phone call was made to Napier this morning. Napier feels more wanted by UF Admin and will sign with UF.

Yea, attendance was poor yesterday but the weather was not cooperating and there was an LSU home game which always hurts attendance. I was at a Tuesday night game earlier in the season vs App State and there was 20k+. Conference championship game should bring in that many or more

Stoops is definitely not a better option. But Aranda is.
I like Napier, but he’s behind Aranda, Rhule, Cristobal, and a few others, IMO. But he’s definitely ahead of Mark Stoops.

LSU wants nothing to do with Napier. He’s basically offering blow jobs to be considered and there’s still zero interest.

We hired our whatever choice in Saban and look what happened. We hired a goof ball in Miles and look what happened. We hired an utter meathead in the ogre and look what happened. How is Napier some huge risk compared to those two hires? We’ve literally hired two bozos who won national championships. Just hire a competent guy like Napier and we’ve upped our standing 10 fold.

Congrats to Florida and all for going after him early but he’s not moving his family to Gainesville if he doesn’t have to
