You signed it as a "former" fan, so they no longer need to concern themselves with your opinion.
The only people they will pay attention to are big contributors short of a large number of season ticket holders turning in their tickets and even that may not get as much attention because there are plenty of fans out there who will buy them.

They might not care about the big $$ donors pulling their $$ either. Less $$ will give them them just the excuse they need to put the final nail in the LSU coffin.... remember, the BOS is full of privatizers who want nothing more than to hand over the university to their own kind. This is the plan.

To you and all of the other “fans” who stick out their lips and pout like a 5 year old when they don’t get what they want-remind me to never get into a foxhole with you when times get tough! I was against the “O” hire myself but I consider myself a real fan, therefore I’ll support the program and the young men that choose to play there no matter what the circumstances. Some of you would rather be “right” than LSU be successful going in a direction that you don’t agre with. How sad, shortsighted and horribly selfish on your part. I’m not even an alumnus and I hope for more success than some of the people on these threads that are grads.

I do not donate to the university. I do not have the ability to come to the games. But I do buy merchandise and more importantly, I teach my kids what it means to be a Tiger. this part right there is just stupid, they have no idea who you are or how much you contribute yet you tell them you contribute nothing and that your opinion therefore means nothing because of it
we all know you never sent that letter but lets go ahead pretending you did and say you should have instead said:
I regularly donate to the university. I am a season ticket holder and always come to the games. I buy merchandise and more importantly, I teach my kids what it means to be a Tiger. I will be canceling my season tickets and putting away all of my gear, and I will talk to my kids about why we will no longer support the program. What you will lose from me is a generation of new LSU fans.
