There have been rumblings in the recent weeks because the team has been awful and Gary has been losing it. This is their fourth strait year in decline.
Apparently the AD and President met with him and said they wanted to announce this would be his last year and have a farewell last game at home and a big send off. No hard feelings but it was time to part ways
Patterson told them to F off and said I resign asap. Wasn’t a good split
They built a statue of him last year at the stadium lol
