Probably, but I don't think he had $17 million at stake, either.

Has a 7-3 record against Texass. Hardly considered tanked.

Their situations aren’t exactly the same.

It’s painful to look at this site and see how poorly some of y’all follow logical sequences

Patterson told them to F off and said I resign asap.

I hope he grabbed his belt, pulled them britches up to his nipples when he said it.

Why is it a cuck move?

TCU would be a sunbelt team if it wasn't for Gary Patterson.

Lol no.

Even Rice is in CUSA and about to be AAC.

There’s no former SWC teams in the Sun Belt.

Not sure why this post got downvoted to hell. No former Southwest Conference team has ever been in the Sun Belt, past or present.

There is no conceivable scenario where TCU is in the Sun Belt, regardless of who their coach is.

At TCU? Yes.

Before Sully led them to victory in 1992 they had lost 24 straight to the Horns.

Because it misses the point. TCU wandered from the WAC to C-USA, to the Mountain West, and even flirted with the Big East before getting a Big XII invite. And that's while they were winning.

There's no telling where TCU would be if Gary didn't take the job, or had left for a bigger program at some point.

So even Rice never dropped to the level of the Sun Belt, but TCU would?
