Why would he leave UT to come to LSU? I guess more money?... UT would just up whatever we offer.

I mean if he believes in what Kelly is selling him and he gets a raise why wouldn’t he? He’s an LSU Tiger at heart. Played football and coached here. Has spent 10 years of his life at LSU and may want to come home

It seems to me that it never works out when you hear a coach is a done deal and it will be 2+ weeks until its announced.
Assuming the staff they're on intended to keep them, which Texas would obviously like to do.
Honestly if its true than I am thinking there was some kind of Co-DC title being offered as well. If not, there is too much time for Texas to sweeten the deal and retain him. IMO

I think it’s his agent doing some hardballing for a pay raise… no way it would leak this early. Normally leaks this early don't come true.

Well there was smoke last year that hankton would leave UGA after the playoffs to come here and it happened
