Will they allow his FIL on the field after games?
If he donates enough to the Bulldog club and NIL I’m fine with it. Other than that not a fan of bringing in-laws on the field. I draw the line at wife, kids, father and mother. Maybe step-parents depending on the relationship.

This. I'm screenshotting all these comments to post after Lebby is fired in 2026. Chad Morris 2.0.

Lots of holes on that roster. Matt Coral isn't walking through the locker room in Starkville either. Going to be a tough build. Is he bringing Gabriel?

Mike Leach's death and his recruiting- plus the Arnette staff absolutely tanking recruiting even more- it is going to take some time. State fans are a reasonable bunch, the overall attitude of the fanbase is that we want stability and are willing to give lebby time.

Florida taking Stricklin and Auburn taking Cohen was a blessing in disguise. Stricklin's hires speak for themselves, and Cohen was an absolute disaster from the beginning and is the singular reason our NIL has taken this long to catch up.
this will take time, and state will buckle down for 3 years at least.

What does MSU have against coaches that have HC experience?

Are you though? What was wrong with Moorehead?

I’d say he’s at closer to Chad Morris x 3.

A lot of dysfunction and off the field problems. And he took a 10 win talented team and squandered it

This seems subjective. The point I'm getting at is Moorehead got the ax after Ole Miss hired Lane Kiffin. Yall have been reacting to that hire ever since. Leach was brought in to make a splash. It kind of worked. Arnett wasn't closing the gap. So the decision was made to try to find a flashy hire to compete with Kiffin.

Ah, the classic overestimated self-importance of OM fans. Moorhead got fired because was terrible. This has nothing--and never had anything--to do with Lane Kiffin. Put down the crack pipe.

When was he fired again? in January? Seems like very odd timing.

Not everything is about y’all. Moorhead was fired due to severe off the field issues, not to mention the on field performance was poor considering the talent he inherited. He went 8-5 with a team that had 3 first rounders on the defensive side of the ball

Leach was brought in because it was the best hire we could make at the time. I highly successful coach at every stop he had made.

It was working pretty well. Was coming off a 9-4 regular season with a very experienced roster heading into year 4. Then he died.
It’s undeniable the success Kiffin has had but good god the narcissism some of you have is hilarious

Yeah, there was a bowl game to play. And right before said bowl game, our MLB beat the shite out of our starting QB, which was ultimately the final nail in Moorhead’s coffin

The first thing you showed Lebby when he got off the plane was a huge sign that said "Go to hell Ole Miss". Don't play that shite. Your whole program judges itself based on how you match up against Ole Miss.

Two college kids holding up a dumb sign =/ the decision making process of our athletic department

No one told them to put it away.

Also, I find it odd that a school who’s head coach actively tweets about our new coaching hire several times, makes “we run the sip” hats to pass out on the field like the literal Super Bowl, and compiles a whole entire 1 minute meme video about Mississippi state to post right after the game now points at 2 college kids holding up a sign and screams “oBsEsSiOn!!!!”
Give me a fricking break

He was fired 2 days after we lost our bowl game. Yes, very odd.

1 is a recruiting tactic.
The other is in a situation where Ole Miss should not even be mentioned and is incredibly odd for it to be there.
