Technically there is. Looks like he never redshirted. And he could get hurt and apply for a medical RS for an extra year of eligibility.

Gabriel is all but gone to Oregon. We can't really compete with them in the portal. We're still pursuing DJUga-whatever and McCord. If those fall through look for maybe Van Dyke as another QB we bring in.

Former Baylor quarterback Blake Shapen (@BShapen) has committed to Mississippi State, he tells ESPN. Shapen started 23 games for the Bears over three seasons and has thrown for 5,574 career yards and 36 career touchdowns.
He’ll be immediately eligible and has at least one season of eligibility remaining.
