Miles and team in tunnel before the game

It looked like as the team was comming out of the tunnel, Les kind of put his hands out and gathered them back in and closed some doors.
Was I dreaming or did I really see that?
The first thing that struck me was he was telling them something like he was staying (or he was going or something along those lines).
But since I haven't heard or seen a peep along those lines and it's been several days now, I guess it wasn't that.

I saw it too, CBS was gonna show them coming out but had to go to commercial

or more likely he wanted to keep with tradition of opening the doors and hitting hte goalpost before he came out, just like every game.
I know he was pissed that the senior day photo thing took so long.

The commentator had some snide remark about "LSU's not retreating, are they?"

Unfortunately, none. I could have used it though. I watched the end of the LSU game on a little 4 inch portable TV in the Redemptorist parking lot (that little T.V. sure made my tailgate popular!) Then went into the Rock and watch Lutcher outgain Redem. by 200 yards and still loose by 3 TD's.
Damn, I could have used some Crown that day.

At least Friday night after the game, I got to see Vestavia Hills end Rush Propst's career and Hoover's streak of 7 straight 6-A finals, 21-17.

Officials required all socks to be the same color...some players had purple socks..some had white...all have to be same by NCAA rules.

Not insider....just listened to Hawthorne and Jordy...while having Verne MUTED!
Best damn thing I ever did. Plus I've thrown a few yellow rags for improper uniforms before. But it was due to lack of proper pads...not sock colors.

Hawthorne did mention that the team did have to return to the locker room to replace socks that didn't match. I didn't realize that they were in the tunnel when this happened. I had assumed the refs ordered the change during the warmups.

We retreated during overtime, not before the game.
