frick. Was hoping we would get to our 3rd and 4th option.

He will be our HC after Luke gets fired next year. Book it

Yep. He will be the next "interim" head coach, will win an Egg Bowl, and then will be hired fill-time.

Not a bad hire

If you’re Luke you have to be wondering how quick fans will be calling for Macintyre to be HC

Macintyre promoted a woman beater to his DC at Colorado after she went to him and said assistant was beating her. They will have to lose the Jeffrey Simmons hate now.

That’s a good hire. He’s done well as a head coach and I think he has some SEC experience at Vandy or somewhere.

Huge upgrade.

Macintyre has won everywhere he has gone. I don't know what issues sank the Colorado team this year, but I'd actually bet on him getting the HC gig and making it fly.

I think he was 5-0 when his starting QB went down. They didn't win any more games.

They fired him when his starting QB got hurt?

Stupid. Stupid decision by a school that has lost its desire to win.

Odd because I thought he had CU going in the right direction.

• A week after Jane informed MacIntyre of Tumpkin’s pattern of physical abuse—which MacIntyre said included “grab[bing] her by her hair and throw[ing] her around”—MacIntyre, George, and DiStefano agreed to make Tumpkin the defensive playcaller in the Buffs’ Dec. 29 Alamo Bowl game versus Oklahoma State. (Defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt had left CU days earlier to take the same job at Oregon.)

The talent on OM’s D is going to be so bad next season it’s not going to matter who they hired. Also $1.5 million is a ton of money for a coach who could be canned with Luke after the season.
