He’s an interesting candidate.
Was on the defensive staff with the Ravens for 7 years before taking the DC position with Michigan.
Took Michigan from the 87th ranked defense to the 7th ranked defense.
Knows the SEC. He went to UGA and coached there under Richt.

He's an amazing guy. Know him personally from a mutual UGa friend. He's 30/31 yrs old which is even wilder

Wouldn’t mind Macdonald at all. If I had to make a list of my “wants” at DC, it would be
Elko (mainly to spite A&M, hes a very good coach either way)
Odom
Schumann
MacDonald
Arnette (little bit of an undertalked about name, thought he’s done well with States D)
Lake (little concerned because of the rumors at UW)
