Rhule

Played LB at Penn State. Then coached only defense before moving to run game coordinator at Western Carolina, with no prior experience. Then moved to LB coach at Temple, before becoming QB coach the next year and then OC the next year.

He then became an OL coach in the NFL.

Weird path.

If someone wants to be a legit coach in the higher ranks, I would recommend cutting your teeth on both sides of the ball.

He's a top 10 coach...and I'm probably underselling him

Weird, but good for his development you gotta think.

I've heard people talk about him and apparently he is a hot commodity in NFL coaching circles right now. Some people have said his next coaching job will be in the NFL if he were to leave Baylor.

Sounds like he's just a football coach, period. A damned good one at that.

Accorinding to this, the main reason he runs spread/rpo is b/c his roster is filled with Texan players.

The main odd part is he went from a LB coach to QB coach in almost 1 year.

I’ve never heard of that happening.

Kudos to him. Great coach.

Chip Kelly was also a defensive coach for three seasons before becoming an offensive coach for good.
