The White Star!
Only been there once as a child, don’t remember it, my mom took me down there to drag her drunk arse dad home.
I did go into the beer keg on township, which is how I imagine the white star being.

Most average might be Johnson or Biden
Pretty sure Johnson set up the practices as a young kid some say 12 other say teens of going around and picking up the African Americans in the back of a truck and driving them to the polls because a politician made him mad. He then perfected those tactics until he ran with Kennedy and used the mob to win the presidency.

As to Bill, that man was a wool magnet, and imagine being his wingman in his youth.
After he lost a race in the 70s he went and got wrecked down at the white star, which is low class now, so I can only imagine what it would have been like then. My grandpa hung out there, so pure drunks.. and he had his finger in a couple of them bar fly ladies that night, maybe more. That’s just what was seen by everyone in the middle of that shite hole.

Yeah - all of these people have spilled the same blood in the same mud. Not a fan of Michelle Obama but I have a huge liberal friend and apparently when Barry told her he was going to run for president, she lost it on him and not only asked him how much was enough, but how much dick were they going to have to take and how many bad deeds to just maybe win. Nobody gets that far with a clean slate. Not in politics (unless they end up being assasinated, unfortunately).
Pretty sure Michelle had to already turn over her law license in a case that was sealed. Could just be internet rumors but that’s why I heard she wasn’t practicing and was teaching.
Either way, no one really cares. All politicians are terrible people. Even historians are now saying Eisenhower sucked as a commander and purposely risked more men than needed to achieve glory for himself. The only good thing he did was the MIC speech before he left. Could have stopped Russia from taken Germany, but chose appeasement. More and more talks about Nixon being far better than given credit. Set up by the same CIA, HW Bush, that killed Kennedy.

I think it is both sides, nobody wants the truth to come out except the common man with a common mans sense of decency.
It is both sides, no one cares anymore. No one is going to jail. No one cares. The only people who care are people with morals, and none of those exist in politics.
No one is stopping all these rub shacks that keep popping up with underage illegal immigrants forced to “work off” their debts to the cartel. That’s literally all the new massages parlors popping up in every city on every corner.

It’ll be interesting to see how Cal handles this. He’s talked about how other coaches like Sealy’s play style
Now he has a chance to trade for more size that can play
I know this is all jokes but when does trading start since they are being paid?

By their own words, this year is supposed to be a proof of concept and 27 is the true target year for legitimate improvement.
Real schools don’t get a figure it out year. Indiana went 11-2 in Cignetti first year. Do I think that could happen? No. No one is rowing the boat in the same direction above the coach.

I think we will suck until we get a go getter money grabber and check casher for an AD. That realizes everything runs through the big 3… but he also has to be able to explain if we are good the enrollment goes up to the chancellors and presidents.
It doesn’t really matter who the coach is until that happens. That’s why I said Houston Nutt and Pittman could have been glad hand men as liaison to the AD or something.
And by suck I mean we could have a 9-10 win season but it will be a fall off the next year. Nothing sustained.

Alice in particular is focused on making NWA a destination spot in the country.
She is trying to cover up her DUI, so when you google her it doesn’t show that it shows her philanthropic things.
The grand kids are trying to make this destination spot, because they failed on being able to move the HQ to NYC like they wanted to. Just like the Tyson daughter who thought she was a fashionista. Now they are paying for drag queen story hour and trans bullshite in schools.

FTFY, he should be looking for any job out of here. Of course I believe the University President hamstrings him too. Believing that the school brings in the money when Saban showed that winning brings in far more money.

Silverfied isn't the problem.
It's Arkansas that will make it hard for him.
This has been what I’ve been saying, could have prime Nick Saban, and if we don’t have an athletic director bringing in bags of cash and the willingness to put it all in the big 3 and damn the rest, we will never be successful.
The best thing that could happen for Arkansas is if football spins off from the universities. Then people can put their money where they want, instead of it being fungible. If I give it to the athletic department and Yuracheck takes it and buys 4 new women’s scholarships, how did that help my goal of a better Saturday in the fall?

By the time the BOT go all in on paying players there will be a cap. Only Arkansas thing to happen.
I think that’s the whole goal. Make sure there is a cap, so they can say, the cap is $40m a year, we need to come up with 19 through boosters. Instead of saying we need to come up with as much as we can and winning a championship.

When Silverfield starts asking his linemen to trim down to 270-275…we should start to worry.
Until then, let’s see what he can do.
Yeah I’m not worried about Silverfield. Do I think he is gonna win 10 this year? No. Do I think he is only going to win 2? No. I think he could just be a 6-6 coach. A pure meh.. what I want to see is does his team give up with a lead, like they’ve already won it. Does his team lose every close game?
I don’t think he can win as much as he should with Hunter as his boat anchor. So even if he wins 8, he probably could have won 10-11 without Hunter dragging him down.

Hell, even a bad defense would have sufficed. They could have still been bottom third, just not within eyesight of literally dead last in all of D1 football and won at least 3 more games. People severely underplay how bad our defense was last year. It was literally on par with the Morris teams.
If he was as bad as people say, why is it everyone thinks he is still a top 5 play caller.
I’d never argue he was a good person, I’d never argue he should be a head coach. But if you just need offense and have a good defense, he will win you games.
Sonny Dykes said he was a top 5 play caller, and I think Gary Patterson did too. He just isn’t a team builder anymore. Put him at OC and get him a GM that only gives him options. Let him work.

Petrino in his prime would have not started Taylen Green.
Yes he would have. He left to go work with Vick. He has done nothing but want a running QB that could throw… like Lamar Jackson.
Petrino is a lot of things but he is still top 5 play caller in the country for college football. It is everything else he sucks at.
He needs a GM that says you want Taylen, you need a Singleton. You want a Taylen, you need a Wilson or Allen. You need a guy who can get you 5-15 yards and keep chains moving then hit a bomb if needed but not every play.
I think his biggest problem is himself/not taking a hands off approach on the GM side. He recruited most of his problems.
Do I want him back? No because I don’t believe he can take his hands off and just coach what he is given.

He isn’t washed up. He did exactly what he was supposed to do, he got yards and points. He never had a defense, but he surely didn’t have one with T Will.

I’m on a wait and see.. is my hopes high? No.
But after which game will the fervor be so high to fire Yuracheck that they can’t ignore it?

#5 Ceremony
Posted by FayetteNAM on 6/29/26 at 1:01 pm
Since the number 5 is important to our team, why don’t we do a ceremony, where DMC gets to give out the number to the players who earns it in camp? As selected by coaches and players? Or the last 5 gets to pass it on?
Some schools do this with other numbers.. 1, 18, 44…
