Freeman has come out and said he's not interested in Penn St., Florida, Arky, etc., but he hasn't said it about LSU. You also don't hear much buzz about Freeman to LSU, which is worrisome.

I like that he is younger, I just don't know if he can be successful at LSU.

I wouldn't be mad about it. But I'd love it to watch the ND fans melt and later say they never liked him anyway.

Ask yourself why you think Freeman would leave ND for LSU.

You do realize that ND was in the national championship game last year, don’t you? What bowl was Lsu in last year? I can’t even remember.

You're worried that the guy that got ND to the NC game in a 12 team playoff format might come here?

I don't think LSU makes quarter-zips small enough for Coach Freeman

I think he would kill it at LSU

so I guess we're not aligned

because he's a leader, a quality man, loved by his players, proven he can recruit, proven he can bounce back after tough loses...

sign me up if it happens

After Kiffen, there are few that get me excited

Freeman would get my full endorsement

Worry? He would be a great hire.

Apparently his buyout is high (not Lanning high, but still high) and with our current situation, I do not see him leaving.

No he'd be worried about a guy that has lost to NI and Marshall while his only achievement is doing exactly what our previous failed head coach did which is take advantage of weak schedules to get into the playoff.

Look, when this is over, we will wish he was our coach unless we are fortunate to hire our top choice.

I remain hopeful.

He would be about a top 3 hire for me. It would be a home run hire.

He’s one of the few candidates out there that IMO it would be absolutely ludicrous for anyone to be disappointed in the hire.

Will it happen?… Probably not. Will he have success if he’s the hire?… who knows.

But anyone that would be disappointed or upset if he’s the hire would certainly be in the minority. He’d absolutely be a solid hire.

Under normal conditions MF would be four or five spots down from my first choice.

But with this shite show Jethro Landry and his puppet board have concocted, you’d better thank your lucky stars if you get a HC as accomplished as Marcus Freeman.
