same way his departure from LSU and from Miami went. Lots of smoke, lots. At LSU he didnt even deny it, he said nothing until his departure speech. At Miami, he even came out and said he's not going to be the coach at Alabama. Supposedly he has regretted handling it that way. His silence now leads me to believe he in fact is a gone.

The thing we're looking for is Saban signing a contract extension. Until he does that there's at least a chance he goes to Texas. The fact that he hasn't yet means he's probably already gone.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, and I know it's old news by now, but what exactly is the press conference tomorrow? Is it being called by UT? Any idea what they're supposed to announce..just Mack's departure?

Have not been back since yesterday. Did not know it had been deleted.
If Saban leaves...that place will be in full-on mourning. I may go back just to see what they say.

Why would he call a presser when recruits are seeing buzz words like Bama, Saban, 10 million, Texas ( desperate to sign the greatest coach of all time ) oil, Longhorn network / 1%, hell in these 17 & 18 year old recruits eyes he looks like a KING or a demi-god, and ALL the focus is on Bama & Saban and ZERO attention is on Auburn who's in the title game...
