This is exactly right, and Mack supposedly pulled his support for his buyout agreement so he'd digging in and forcing them to fire him. It's going to probably play out over the next 30 -36 hours.

Any logical person would realize if Saban was absolutely 100% not leaving, he would call a presser and end this shite now.
Its fairly obvious that Mack's departure is being negotiated/finalized and his resignation will happen within 48 hours or so.
After that is done, Saban will be announced as UT's next coach within 48-72 hours.
