re: LSUWire - Feldman heard speculation Brian Kelly would take the Michigan job if asked

I mean, sure he could leave. I think he understands he’s not the best “fit” here. I think he would be more comfortable at Michigan.
But he will never be offered that job, that Michigan OC is getting that job.
Total hypothetical, but who would LSU go after if he did leave?

Fieldman was first to report Kelly to LSU so he may be on to something
bruce feldman has sources. it's a decent bit concerning to hear he is reporting this.

From what I've seen of him in interviews and press conferences, I would have to think the he's more comfortable in Baton Rouge than he was in South Bend. He looks healthier, slimmer, he's not as stuffy and uppity. Unless there are personal reasons for him to get out of BR ASAP, I don't see it happening.

Your trolling game used to be a lot better. You’ve gotten soft.

Feldman is tight with Orgeron so I could see this being totally made up bullshite to hurt LSU and Orgeron’s successor.
Kelly speculation also helps Ole Miss and Kiffin, who is also tight with Orgeron. So, yeah, I’m calling bullshite.

Jimmy Sexton at work…. Time for a pay raise

Only to the retards in the media. 2 years and 2 10 win seasons and these idiots are still regurgitating the "fit" line. Give it a fricking rest.
Apparently they won't be happy until we've got a coach who drives a pirogue to work and walks a pet alligator on a leash. But we've already tried the Cajun man caricature and O got himself fired.

Saban just retired. This is the perfect time to capitalize in the SEC. Nothing indicates it will be easier to win in Michigan. This year was an aberration.

Feldman is O’s boy, so I’m sure he’s not the biggest fan of LSU these days.
Speaking of O. He is probably getting bored with lying on the beach every day. Maybe he would come back and win us another Championship.
Maybe Mac will go back to his old job and Wade come back get us back into the Tourney.

Feldman said that with the “incredibly high bar” in Baton Rouge and a fit that has seemed a bit strange from the start, he’s heard speculation that Kelly would go for that job if he thinks he has a shot at it.
Still talking about fit?

Yeah, hiring all these assistant coaches , landing top recruits for 2025.......and then bolting for Michigan
nothing would shock me anymore...
but I give it zero percent chance...because Kelly said a few times "this is my last stop"
I can't see it either.

No, when it doesn’t happen, they will all say that no one wants Kelly. It’s all “heads we win, tails you lose” when it comes to national media and LSU’s opponents on these things.
Kelly has been mocked and told he was t a good fit since he got here. All he’s done is resurrect the program, have back-to-back 10 win seasons, win 75% of his SEC regular season games, win the West, and have a Heisman QB.

Why would Michigan even want Kelly

For as much as Woodward gets credit for things/hiring coaches he can be truly awful in structuring contracts. This was one of them.
The cost of doing business when your program is in a aolute chaos and potentially facing NCAA sanctions and you want the winningest active coach to jump ship from the most historically prestigious program.

I’m old enough to remember when the rant told me Feldman’s reporting of Denbrock’s interest in Notre Dame was bs
Right... the delusion is real in this thread. The buyout is allegedly 2 mil and Michigan will likely match his current contract. Kelly is a northerner, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he left for Michigan.
The 2025 class will not make him stay if he wants to leave. Those kids can be here today, gone tomorrow with this NIL sh*t.
LSU will be just fine either way...

BK isn’t going to Michigan, and Michigan isn’t hiring BK.
