Miles gets a bold sharp OC and hands it over to them completely. Someone that can develop QBs
But who is this person??? Why would they risk that? Wouldn't most of these qualified guys prefer an actual HC gig, even if small..

I have not entered an approaching offseason with this little enthusiasm for next year since the 1990s.
Tonight totally deflated all of my excitement.. I am absolutely bummed.. and don't know how to deal. This is so depressing. LSU could do so much better. Outsiders say how stupid it is he has the most wins in our history.. He's also had the most sustain talent in the history.. every since Saban established LSU, they have been on a national level with recruiting.. and LSU often wins on talent alone.. which since they have a majority of it.. they are successful.. but when LSU faces equal talent they struggle to win these games.. Les was an avg coach coming in and he sustained the talent.. Imagine an actual great coach with this amount of talent. LSU really should have more success given they lead with players to the NFL..
but of course other fans want us to settle. yet you ask yourself.. would you want miles HC'ing your team right now? honestly.. would you not be uneasy about that?
love Miles, his character, but his stubbornness has become too much.. he's the most frustrating coach in the whole wide world. really could have used a change of direction while LSU is still relevant.. and a top tier program. right now was the prime time.. but oh well. another 2-4 loss season next year here we come.
what great coordinator is going to come to LSU.. miles loves hiring fired/demoted coordinators..

We settled for Cam and Steele and you are correct in that more head scratches are coming our way.

amen breh. I'm melting. I was ashamed to be in the student section with those pro-les chants. I was in disbelief how unanimous it was he should stay.
But you're right. the worst is people nonchalantly squeaking by the aggies, who auburn somehow found a way to crush.
Thanks for the memories, les, but please promptly gtfo. Does anyone really expect him to fix anything?

1) recruits will not have that much faith he will be here past a year or two, that won't help.
2) his offensive philosophy WILL NOT change, ever
3) we had a chance to get our pick of Kelly, Herman, Fisher. I don't know what happened but the chance to make a move was now.
We completely screwed the pooch and its not looking good next year I'm afraid.
LSU has the coach they deserve. Just like the dems voting for Obama. The will look back at this move and realize just how bad it was. Dark days ahead

Look forward to you not being part of it. Good riddance.

Did we?

it will take another 7-5 season to get him fired.
We have never had a 7-5 season under Miles. Perhaps you don't know what "another" actually means.

We' only won by 13"points at home, but is an 8-4 team in the SEC West really "terrible?"
There are legit criticisms of Les, but at least be intellectually honest.

we'll be negatively recruited against big time for "coaching uncertainty".

I do. We won the bowl to finish 8-5. So, we've had 1 regular season where we finished 7-5. Hardly justifies "another" which implies they're commonplace.
Nobody loves Les more than me. I think he is a character that college football so,desperately craves. He keeps us relevant even when we are out of the NC picture. We could have 4 losses, but I'd turn on the Van Pelt show and see the LSU helmet front and center. But even I was a little excited about some new blood and a kick in the pants for the program. There are plenty of criticisms you can aim at Les. I just ask you be intellectually honest.

Sounds like our offensive gameplan
No plan b, all depends on fournette, how pathetic

My theory: we won't get an impressive OC because in coaching circles they realize they'll be the OC in name only and take the heat for what is really Les' offense just like Cam is having to do now

'm done. Unless this is corrected I am very finished.
What does this even mean? Are you done watching? How do you know it's corrected if you are already done?
I wish fans like you would actually stop rooting and supporting LSU. But you won't. You still be here to bitch and complain like always.

Do you really think it would be beneficial for your program to make a change and take a chance on an up and comer when you have a coach that's already won you a national title and taken you to another?
Have you seen the offense? Its a shite show. The game has passed him by.
To think he will just hire another OC and change it up is hilarious.
So because Miles has had success we are handcuffed to him for all eternity?
Come on man.

Exactly, what legit OC is gonna come here? None.

We barely beat a terrible A&M team and that vindicates a coach that has trending into the the mediocre gutter?
I don't get it. What the duck just happened. We sent him off into the sunset like he deserved. I love les but it's clear we need a change
Do people not realize we should have won by 30 tonight? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
the crowd support of miles turned alleva into a bitch. no different that walmart getting rid of a product because a bunch of sjw's raise hell.
