The only way this could turn around for all is if Miles gets a bold sharp OC and hands it over to them completely. Someone that can develop QBs

Your D looked great so not sure you need to make any Defensive moves.

It will be interesting to see what Les does.

And you have a real successful 2016.

LSU obviously had no better options and they are trying to save face.

It's well deserved for every bozo that spread a rumor or thought their money would make a difference. The coaching search should be starting tonight, not ending.

LSU AD (and many fans) had this fantasy concocted that a coach that has his team on a playoff trajectory every year in the ACC is going to leave that for LSU

It ALL came down to money. People were delusional to think he would come out of his love for the program, but he would have come for $7M.

And I for one am glad Fisher didn't come for 7 million. And I want Miles replaced, but not for a 7 million dollar coach.

If Jimbo backed out of coming then keeping Les may have been the best option. After all you're gonna spend $15M to buy out Les. You need to have your guy. You don't fire him and see who you can get for that amount of cheese. Herman may be the next Meyer but he may also be the next Sumlin.

I'm disappointed that our fanbase is now satisfied with a program that will finish the regular season unranked for the second year in a row in order to retain their favorite crazy uncle as head coach

LSU had no plan b and caved into media perception like pussies.

This shite is only delaying the inevitable another year and making it more painful and we'll be back to square one next year. Hopefully herman will be available.

It would be stupid to get rid of Miles. He is the most successful coach in your program's history and LSU is the only program that has come close to sustaining success the way Alabama has the last decade in the SEC. Do you really think it would be beneficial for your program to make a change and take a chance on an up and comer when you have a coach that's already won you a national title and taken you to another?

I seriously can't believe your AD came into this without a plan B. Promoting Steele or Cameron to head coach wouldn't make him look as stupid as he does right now.

I have not entered an approaching offseason with this little enthusiasm for next year since the 1990s.
