By a Oklahoma fan who has been here for weeks posting in every thread about Riley saying “he ain’t leaving. No way he’s leaving”. Obviously the doxxed poster posted something that the Oklahoma poster must have thought had some truth to it.

What were Baylor insiders saying about the Kim talk? What were boise st insiders saying about Peterson to Washington? What were FSU insiders saying about Jimbo to A&M? No fan base believes there coach thinks another situation is better. I’m not saying I think it’s a done deal but SW’s track record speaks for itself. If anyone can pull it off, he can. Also, contrary to OU fan’s belief, we are clearly the better job.

They would be the last people to know, imo. It's in Castiglione's best interest to keep it as quiet as possible. This allows him to search for his guy without the headache of a fanbase tracking his every move. Plus, the day it is announced, Oklahoma could potentially announce their hire as well...giving them something to sell their recruits to try and keep them onboard.
I hate Oklahoma but their administration handles coaching searches very well. I think Fickell could potentially be the guy and that would take a lot of heat off Castiglione if Riley leaves.
