I am getting really sick of Miles playing LSU for a new contract like he is doing right now.

LSU should be a destination job, one of the best in the Nation.

Miles should go to Michigan, and inherit all that crap up there and let us see what kind of coach he really is. Here he inherited a NC caliber team and won it. The cupboard up there is bare and if he thinks that is a better job....then let the "geese pick his arse".

I say no new contract and remove the "to Michigan" clause out of his contract. Enough already.

WTF is this doing to our recruiting? Miles has turned into "Harbaugh Lite".

Can the man just say I am not going to Michigan period? I am sick of his double speak not only here but with the media and Tiger fans.

with all the jobs that have come open, there has been a grand total of one that Les Miles has acted like this towards.

LSU is a destination job, for him. Michigan is the exception.

What double speak are you talking about? All I have heard him say is that he and his family are happy at LSU. He said he has had no formal contact with UM. If can't assume that means he has had informal contact with UM, you are an idiot. Would you rather him say that he has had contact with UM? If he came out and said that, LSU fans would be pissing and moaning that he had the nerve to say that and that must mean he doesn't want to be LSU's coach.

That would be dumb, considering it entitles LSU to $1.25M if Miles ever left for Michigan.

LSU wants out of Miles' one sided contract.

LSU is not giving Miles a new contract.
He has a great contract and if he wins another national title it becomes even better.

LSU is not giving him anymore money, but they will roll it over which is what Miles wants for protection in case things would go south which increases his buyout - that's what he will get out of this.

And no, I don't think he's going to Michigan but until his agent does his thing Miles wants this speculation out there.

You're suprised when Miles does with every other coach does regarding other jobs....like Stoops did about Florida.

So you'd rather him act like Tuberville: "I'm only leaving Oxford in a pine box" or Saban: "I will not be the head coach at Alabama".

It is, but Miles is a Michigan alumni. That has an affect on his decision.
