Be interesting to see how his offense looks without JD5.

Awesome news. Big time QB development guy and good play caller

People forget how far JD has come. He wasn’t the same player last year. That’s development.

Huge news for LSU

I would have waited to see how he did without Daniels before giving him an extension.

I don't want to be here in 2 years finding out that Denbrock sucks without a Heisman level quarterback.

I guess one coach didn't need a sit down eval with BK.

Hope we didn't do anything drastic with guaranteed money. Generational QBs have a tendency to hide coordinator deficiencies and I don't think Denbrock has some incredible resume prior to this season.

People also forget about Joe Sloan.

Guessing it will be like 3 years 6 million with 4.5 essentially guaranteed.

Looks like A&M made a run at Denbrock. Was going to make him the highest paid OC in the country.

frick off, A&M

Interesting

Can you put that in its own thread so Aggies don’t miss it

LOL. The dude is 59 years old and has been an OC for over a decade. I don't think the jury is still out on him.

Desmond Ridder was a 2-star QB when he was the OC at Cininnati.

You wonder if they are doing this to show a certain family from New Orleans that if their Son/Grandson wanted to transfer out of his current siltation, LSU would be a perfect fit.

Texas A&M pursued LSU's Mike Denbrock for offensive coordinator position before pivoting to K-State's Collin Klein, sources tell @FootballScoop
