Any coach no longer coaching a Heisman candidate isn't going to be as good. But Daniels wasn't a Heisman candidate prior to this season. He got there because he has unique talent, he worked hard to develop it and he got the type of coaching you need to bring that out. The same thing can be said for Thomas and Nabers.

Glad to see we are doing our due diligence, I'd be pissed if they didn't make a call to one of the top coordinators in the country. LSU stepped up and gave him a raise to keep him, good for y'all. I'm still happy with where we ended up, anything would be an improvement on that side of the ball at this point. Y'all still haven't addressed the issue on D so I'd hold off on throwing too much shade around on coordinators hires.

Raised yes, but not matched. This was a much closer steal than people realize. BK helped get this deal done. MD and his family are very happy here
