Bad News: Horrible coach, your special teams will suffer.

LSU opted to have no Special Teams coach on staff than have Peveto last year.

Terrible coach, big rah rah zero substance. Obviously has a relative at 247 that gives him credit for players Corey Raymond and/or Frank Wilson recruited to LSU.
Bad hire. Arranda’s first official act as DC was to get Brad Dale away from the D.

Not that good a coach, but he's a GREAT recruiter. If he was still on LSU's staff, sadly, he would be the 3rd best coach on there behind Aranda and Raymond.

Great hire for recruiting purposes. BDP is a Texas guy and really should do well in that regard. Not a great coach, but he has a mean BBQ sauce

You’ll get downvoted but this is true. One of the worst position coaches I’ve ever seen at LSU and his only recruits at Ole Miss are two 3*’s, which, for reference, Frank Wilson (a guy who can actually recruit) is doing better than at UTSA. 247 gives him credit for guys like Rashard Lawrence which wasn’t his pickup at all.
Grossly overrated as a recruiter IMO to go along with the fact that everything that he was ever involved with went to absolute shite. I’ve never been as happy to see a coach go as I was with him.

Completely false. Lawrence mentioned multiple times how close he was to Peveto during his entire recruitment.

Unless somethings changed he should be coaching LBs only and not STs. Not sure if that’s better or worse, talent development at LB has been a huge issue for us under Sumlin. And no troll we are legitimately hiring him, I remember the bitching on here about him as a ST coach and Co DC but didn’t know about his recruiting ability or as a defensive position coach
If he can recruit us some elite LB talent that will be a huge plus
