It is like Saban asking someone to be DC - CUM controls the Offense, Our guy is a CEO coach like Leslie was.

Yup. Say what you want but CUM, as much as I hate the guy, obviously knows infinitely more than any poster on TD. If he hires him laugh all you want but there's a reason and it's not because he sucks. He just sucks here. Some guys and situations just don't fit and LSU is a unique place.

Wasn't Linehan Saban's OC with the Dolphins as well? Urban's already repeating the mistakes Saban made in the NFL.

CUM might control the offense but he relies heavily on his offensive coordinators. The Gators had major offensive issues after his OC Dan Mullen left and they replaced him with Steve Addazio. There was also a massive difference in offensive production at Ohio State with Ed Warriner and Tim Beck as their OCs compared to when they had Tom Herman and Ryan Day/Kevin Wilson as their OCs.

E isn’t a great playcaller, but he’s ok with Brady’s playbook and overall scheme. He’s not nearly as creative, but we still moved the ball between the 20s on all but 3 teams.
We were told that Linehan was helping with 3rd downs and red zone. THIS was the worst area of the 2020 offense. If it was him, then his playcalling was terrible. Completely predictable. We also saw a dramatic reduction in WR execution, which Brady helped with tremendously as PGC the previous year. Linehan absolutely deserved to be fired. He was totally ineffective here.
