Most people with character aren’t going to condemn an organization then go to these organizations because they pay them a lot of money.

We also aren’t expecting anything mid-season.

Not saying he’s coming but when you take “coach speech” for what it’s worth this has nothing to do with him leaving at the end of the season.

It's spot on. "LSU shouldn't do that, but let me run right over there and reward them for doing it."

He ain't coming.

I give Ed credit where due, but he is not to LSU what Patterson is to TCU.

Patterson out early with a winning record only happens in the ESD era. Ed following this same trajectory ...maybe 5 years earlier? You tell me.

Don’t think Patterson started hiring good ole boys without interviewing them, posting historically bad defensive numbers, seeing unprecedented attrition, or lining up in base defense for 200 consecutive plays in his last two years.

Y’all just want to believe your fantasy. I hear Riley is a good dude. I was hoping he was coming. I do not believe that is happening now.

Riley isn't making a move for money period. OU will pay whatever it takes to keep him. So taking money out of the equation, why would he come here? I don't know.

Did anyone actually read the Article? It disturbed him that Gary Patterson was fired and couldn’t finish the season “after all he’s done there”......

Hmmmm....

Good thing there isn’t a coach in all of college football with any character.

This actually kinda solves the speculation on what coaches think about finishing their last year and why it might be important to let them do that. For the sake of perception if nothing else.

We heard it right from the mouth of one of the best.

Which might be why Scott does this.
