Jimbo has rebuilt a program
Jimbo destroyed a very proud program at FSU and has averaged 3 losses per year at A&M. Where was the rebuild?

It’s crazy to me that people fail to see that A&M has continued an upward trajectory since he’s been there. He’s recruiting at an incredible level and despite being dealt some shitty cards by losing his starting QB and having kellen mond to work with, he’s continued to do pretty damn well

LSU lost a lot more than it’s starting QB this year. Why does Jimbo, who hasn’t won shite in almost 10 years, get all of the benefit of the doubt?

With a shitton of injuries including QB1 in that down year at FSU.
Now he again has QB1 down. A few rough weeks, 2 losses, and things have stabilized a bit.

Don’t sleep on a guy like Matt Campbell as a dark horse candidate

I am OK with Napier . Anybody but Tucker . I am OK with Lincoln Riley , but I don’t think he is worth $12 to $15 million /yr . Get Napier , get him great coordinators and we are rolling . AND , he won’t be looking to jump to the NFL ! ( might stay around longer ! )

do you really think its riley?

just study the scores and class rankings from this season if you haven’t watched the games this season. There are coaches within his own conference that have proven more.
I’m not a hater like idiots on here think. I’m looking at results and comparing recruiting classes in the Sunbelt. Plus if you know anything jumping from a tier 3 to the best job in college football available this season and the ADs career riding on it, you will quickly figure out he won’t get this job.
You don’t make those jumps.
People dogging Aranda at least should have some sense enough to know you can’t compare ULLs competition to Baylor’s. This is why I’ve consistently said he needs to go to a second tier P5 like Baylor or TCU and prove himself BEFORE he ever gets a shot at LSU. Memories of Hallman come to mind every time I hear his name mentioned and the answer is a resounding no.

Losing consistency is the Jimbo hallmark. Historically 7-8 wins. Noooooooooo!

He is the one who brought in the "shadow staff" as part of his small scale Bama plan...

Napier is off the market.
Horned Frogs HC. Might be announced today. If not, early next week.

Is there though? He took over a program that had 3 straight losing season and has gone 7-7, 11-3, 10-1, and is now 8-1. Division champs every single year. That’s pretty solid.
Now does that translate to tP5? I have no idea. But I’m not sure how you can argue with the results. 29-5 if you throw out the first year. And that’s with games against p5 teams.

but I’d be more excited to see what he could do than I would be for Jimbo.

Napier would be my 4th or 5th choice, but even he would be a huge upgrade over what we have now.

Smart move by Billy Napier if true.
With Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC, Napier should be able to maintain his coaching winning percentage at TCU.
The Florida Gators may come calling next year.

Not great for you if that’s the case buddy

Jimbo would recruit well and we’d be at least solid again Maybe not flashy but the least risk for sure, even compared to Riley
All true. The issue with Jimbo is that we will be unlikely to ever win a title running his offense and he shows absolutely no sign of ever changing it or giving over any control of it. Combine that with his insane price tag and it doesn’t make as much sense beyond kneecapping a rival.
