Maybe we’ll hit on one of these big swings, but if not Napier is pretty clearly one of the major “2nd tier” candidates who could end up with the job.

I like what he’s done at ULL but one question I have that someone may be able to answer, I k ow he’s got a lot of shadow/support staff in Lafayette, is that something that happens at other Sun Belt schools, or is it a situation where maybe he’s been given some advantages by the administration there that his competitors don’t have?

I don’t want to see us hire Napier, but I’d be more excited to see what he could do than I would be for Jimbo.

He’s nobody’s first choice but there’s a lot to like there. He’s got a great reputation as a recruiter and he’s put together a very solid program over there.

I wouldn’t mind Napier or Aranda. Jimbo would give me the sads.

Jimbo would recruit well and we’d be at least solid again

Maybe not flashy but the least risk for sure, even compared to Riley

let’s leave him where he’s at then. He’s at ULL. He doesn’t deserve any consideration for a job like LSU

7/12 seasons are 3 or more losses. What’s solid about that?

that's some serious ignorance. Jimbo has a championship and he's made a&m better than us. Aranda hasn't done jack.

Jimbo had a three-year run almost a decade ago. Take that one stretch out and his record is squarely mediocre.

Don't know, but it's underwhelming and yielding a number of very close wins the last two seasons. Very underwhelming and not separating them much from others. Maybe some other SBC schools have shadoww/support staffs as well.

This is truly an asinine comment. Jimbo has rebuilt a program, has had physical lines, developed a back up QB to beat Alabam, and shown he can be successful in the SEC (oh yea he has a national championship and is a hell of a recruiter) - and you’d be more excited about someone who has led ULL to New Orleans bowls?

The complete disregard and lack of appreciation for Jimbo’s resume is incredible on this board.

A&M fans wanted him gone a few weeks ago. Their success right now is because of the DC

No one cares, Jimbo. Go away.
