Les is a good recruiter, so they should always have guys.

At LSU he was a good recruiter. Plus he is older now and he would be coach at a school he probably DGAF about. AKA he's simply collecting a paycheck.

I can see him getting lazy and when you combine that with his embarrassing dismissal from LSU, it could easily end up a disaster.

is he going to live at Del Boca Vista?

If so he may want to keep his distance from that Klompus dude. Bad news.

Closest job to Cuba that's available. Good fit!

Hell, he might as well run for President of Cuba, now that Castro is out.

Wow. Does Les really wanna coach that bad?

He just seems like such a natural fit for television, I assumed when he couldn't get a top job he would naturally go that way

I may be proven wrong, but I would be surprised to see Les take a job this year. He can sit at home and collect 1.5 to 2 million a year. How much would USF pay him? It won't be near the 4+ he was making here. Even if it's 2 million per year he'd almost be working for free.

Bingo.

I agree. I don't expect Les to work next year, and it's not because he hasn't been offered. I feel pretty confident he's already been offered Houston, Baylor, USF, and Purdue. I think it's all BS by his agent to make it look like he's trying to find a job, and he has no intention of working next year. Maybe we're wrong, but I totally agree with you.

Les aint gonna work for free. And in his defense, no sane person would.

wat.

Anyway, I sure fricking wish Les wouldn't have wasted all of that staffing money we gave him on Cameron and Peveto. Could have had O at DL coach the next 8 years too, not like anyone was taking him

What I also find interesting is that all of the media types last year that said LSU can't get a better coach than Miles,

I'm going strictly off of past records. But LSU didn't hire a better coach....

Miles wasn't interested in Purdue, note Purdue was not interested in Orgeron, nor KY, nor Vandy.

Think about that .

USF won't spend the $$ to bring Miles in.

The program doesn't have the fan support sadly. Even with a 10 win season they struggled to get 20,000 to home games.
