Hard to pull a guy when the mothership calls.
Our only hope is he knows he moves on to HC in 2 years and would rather make more money now.

Ratchets up the competition for Briles.
I would imagine that’s Lane’s first call. They worked at FAU together and had a top 5 offense.

No way. Arkansas to Ole Miss is AT BEST a lateral move.
Plus, he has autonomy at Arkansas that he wouldn't have under Lane.
His next move is at an elite program as OC, or as a G5 head coach.
This Lebby move will be good for him, as it will get some of the "Briles stink" out in the open, and then when he makes a move it will be old news.

I don’t know if LSU could have done anything short of offering him 5mil to come to LSU.
I wanted Lebby, but the timing was poor.
