Lane needs A&M like money to just throw at recruits so he doesn't have to do much recruiting himself. He's redeemed himself with the stints at Bama and Ole Miss. I bet he will get another shot at a top 10ish job soon.

USC is already out. Kirby isn't going anywhere. Norvell isn't going anywhere. Sark is stable. Not a whole lot of jobs he would leave for. And if those jobs opened, he probably wouldn't even been first choice.
