I should root for this, right?

So it gives this Grubb fella a better chance to go to Alabama?

Washington must want their history of wild swings to continue.

I’m buddies with a lot of Texas Tech fans. This would be a disaster of epic proportions.

Kingsbury sucks at recruiting, and fielded the worst defense in the FBS a couple of seasons. Hell he had a losing record with Patrick Mahomes as his QB.

Sources = my buddy after a few beers

Literally just says he could be coach. Could just as easily say Nick Saban could be the coach

Does it really matter who Deboer's OC is? That's kind of his thing.

I'd prob try to find an OC who is a good recruiter with ties to the region if I were him.

Always makes for a good laugh Everyone always uses “their buddy” like it’s some legit source.

I'm certainly not pimping for Kingsbury, but plenty of coaches were disasters and learned from their mistakes and turned it around, including Sark and Kiffin.

Kingsbury will get other opportunities. Whether he succeeds or not will depend on if he has learned. He's a smart guy.

Sure but shouldn't he go to a smaller job and prove he's a good head coach, which he's never done, before he fails upward again?

Sark never did. He took an analyst job at Alabama and then an OC job in the NFL.

Kliff is an analyst at USC and has been a head coach in the NFL since his TT days.

I agree he should probably take at least an OC job somewhere, if not a G5 head coaching position.

Sark had some success as a head coach though, granted with an incredibly bad ending. Plus he had a successful stint as Bama OC and his demons were behind him.

He was a bad college coach then a bad NFL coach. A job like Washington entertaining him would be stupid.

Petersen never left the building and is working in AD's office.
