Riley was never coming to LSU, and he was never a great fit or a guarantee to be successful there. You can check my post history, I've said all of the above from the beginning.
There's other coaches out there that would be better fits, attainable, and infinitely better than Orgeron at organization, discipline, game planning, and changing the culture.
Riley was not the end-all, be-all that some here made him out to be and I'm not sure why some of you can't seem to let go

And yet I’m more energized about the program than I was when LR took over. We were stalled out and he was unwilling to move on from dead weight (that he ridiculously took with him).
I fully expect a rough couple of years, but I’m confident we are in a better place in 5 years than we would have been with LR.
